I too really only like HIGH heels. The most comfy I've found, seem to be Nine West. And they need to be slingbacks. Totally enclosed heels kill my feet and never stay on. These below are so comfy, I just walked a ton last sat night, no prob at all. IMAGE

Cole Haan - WORTH EVERY PENNY!
I am obsessed, yes, expensive but totally worth it, especially if you need a basic black or brown or something you will have for a long time.
It was the only shoe I could wear when I was 9 months pregnant - my feet swelled up so anything closed like a sneaker hurt. I rocked the heels with my huge belly.
I LOVE THESE SHOES!

look for leather shoes, it may be more $$$ but leather is softer and stretches around your feet.
I have a wide foot, but never buy wide shoes.
I just wear them at home with socks a few hours and they are perfect, stretches them right out and breaks them in.
Try Salvatore Ferragamo or Stuart Weitzman. Pricey but very good quality shoes will last you a while and be worth it in comfort.

Cole Haan runs crazy narrow for me anyway. I know they are supposed to be comfy, but unless your foot is normal width its not very good.

I have to buy a wide and STILL do that! I guess I am closer to a WW, but it is rare to find leather WW that have a decent heel. I find that a lot of wide shoes are fake leather & I hate that.

Some of the styles come in wide. I have a pair that fits well, but the are open toed slingbacks, so there isn't that much "shoe" to them. A regular pump is more annoying if it is too narrow.

Have you checked out payless? They carry a lot of WW styles, specifically Christian Sorian. I have a few pairs of platform heels from them and have gotten so many compliments on them.

I too think I am probably ba DOUBLE WIDE! ( Wow that sounds attractive!) Lol
But if younthink wides are hard to come by, forget double wide! It's orthopedic shoes or nada in a WW!

Love 9 west and Ann Taylor, very comfy. I've heard great things about cole haan with the Nike air thing but haven't splurged on a pair.
