Best prices on sofas/couches?
We are in need of a new sofa/couch. Where did you get yours? What store do you feel has the best prices? Thanks!

We just looked at Jennifer Convertibles, Bob's and Raymour and Flannigan. Price wise Bob's was the best...but you also get what you pay for in my opinion. In the end we went with Raymour and Flannigan because the quality of the couch was excellent and really fit what we wanted. This is also our everyday couch that we're sitting on every single day and eat dinner most nights.
We spent roughly $2500 on a 3 piece sectional couch.

DH and i got a bobs couch when we first moved in a few years ago - didnt want to spend much for our first apt etc. well, you get what you pay for. after less then a year it was worn and uncomfortable.
i wouldnt get a couch from them again

Bob's definitely has low prices, but like others have said - youget what you pay for. DH had a Bobs couch that he bought while we were "on a break" that literally fell apart in less than a year - the whole frame broke (they came twice to fix it and when that didn't work, they gave him full credit towards something else - and then they had to come repair the new couch - but so far only once). So, the "best price" is not always a bargain. I really like the furniture at Macys and even JC Penneys has some really nice stuff

Best prices on sofas/couches?
I just got a new leather one from Ashley Furniture. It was $2800 in store but I ordered from an authorized Ashley dealer and paid $1800 so I thought that was a good deal. Before that I had a sectional from Bob's. I had it for about two years and it was in pretty good shape considering the price. We sold it for a few hundred dollars. I have to say my Bob's couch was seriously the most comfortable couch ever... I had a hard time finding something that was close to it

An electrical recliner purchased at BOB's had faulty wiring in it. It set on fire in the middle of the night, causing the family to lose a majority of their home AND their dog did not make it out alive :( So sad.......

Raymour & Flannigan have a friends and family event coming up in a few weeks where you can save 15-20% off. DH & I bought 2 la-z boy recliners and a nice couch in a custom pattern for about 2k (after discount, taxes and delivery) yesterday utilizing this deal.
