restaurant on LI
any good restaurants to check out this weekend? 2 couples, 2 celebrating bdays, we haven't been out in a while so good food 
We are in the Merrick and Wantagh area but can travel
Rockville centre is always good

George Martin's in Rockville Centre is one of our favorites!
Also really good in RVC:
Prime Catch - mainly seafood
Frank's Steak House
Blue Moon
Dodici
Dario's
Sushi Ya
We live in Rockville Centre so we've been to all of these places and really like all of them!

I love Snaps in Wantagh.
Cara Mia in Seaford for good Italian.
Salumi in Massapequa if you are looking for something different........tapas and meat/cheese boards.

So it wound up as 6 of us. We tried to get reservations at Darios in RVC but they couldn't accomodate 6 at 8:30.
So wound up at Apertief in RVC. It was amazing. the place was packed and so nice. It's french cuisine and you can do Tapas style or full entree's. I def recommend it.
Thanks for all the recommendations will def try some others next time
