Comfortable futon...is there such a thing?

One year after Sandy and our basement is FINALLY coming along Chat Icon . We are going to have a tv set up down there and also a playroom area for the kids. I would like to put a futon (since they are smaller in size) so we have a place to sit and watch tv and also for when we have overnight guests. I know futons are not generally the most comfortable things so any recommendations or suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks!

I got the one from Ikea that you put together a few years back (7 years, DAAAAAMN didn't realize it was that long ago). It was actually very comfortable for both a bed and a couch! it was a full-size bed.

I have the Beddinge futon from IKEA for the last ten yrs. It is so comfortable! Don't know if it still available and if it is the same quality.

Yes we have a wooden one with a very thick mattress and that thing is better than any mattress thus far!

We have a serta one that we bought from Overstock a few years ago. It is used fairly often, and is pretty comfortable.

I also have the Ikea one mentioned and it is VERY comfortable. My SIL slept on it for 10 days after Sandy and my mom has been here for a week so far since I had the baby and both of them have liked it a lot.

Are you referring to the Beddinge one mentioned above?

And thanks all for your feedback!
