Can you recommend jeans that do not give you "pancake ass"
Is it that they are too low rise? Is it the pocket placement? The fit? The fabric content?
Why does every pair of jeans I wear flatten my ass out? My ass is NOT flat. By any means. But in jeans- it just goes missing.
What gives?

See now these are higher waisted. I am thinking that maybe it's the low rise that is pushing everything down and making my ass look flat? I am thinking maybe I need to go with a higher rise- thought I can't stand anything over my stomach like that. But maybe I have to look into that.

I have a long torso and I can only wear higher rise jeans, believe it or not they are not even that high. They hit way below my belly button.
J brand makes a great mid rise jean too

Re: Can you recommend jeans that do not give you "pancake ass"
There is a website where this lady goes through and explains (with pics) best jeans for your body top and how to avoid the dreaded mom or pancake butt. Let me see if I can find it….
Pocket placement has A LOT to do with the way your butt looks.

You know I remember reading this but to be honest, I think all the jeans look just AWFUL on all the models. So I am not sure what point she is trying to prove. I think all of these jeans- even the ones she recommends are horribly ill fitting. Maybe it's just me!
For example in this- The just right is FARRRR from just right IMO.:

I checked out this link to, i thought every pair looked awful too, alot has to do with wearing horrible underwear. I just don't think you can wear tight jeans and not wear a thong. regular underwear makes you look like you have 4 butt cheeks

I agree! I think we may be looking at some serious granny panty lines. I only feel comfortable wearing thongs with jeans
