New RE dr visit today... Love this dr- so mad at previous dr.
Everyone who knows me on here know I loved Dr. Trivax. I felt he tried with us but I never thought he was being that thorough.
Fast forward to this dr- 3 vials of blood to test various things. Couldn't remember all but one was prolactin. Did an ultrasound.
Now I got HSG done even though dr trivax didn't think I needed it. Brought results to new dr I knew something was up but w dr lingo on report but couldn't comprehend. Dr takes a look and asked if he could do a sonohyster something don't know full name. Saline ultrasound ? Think that's a water sono. Now I had one w dr sung at practice and cramped a lot and she was quick with it and said I was fine. This dr found a dip in my uterus and some possible scar tissue on uterus that may interfere with embryo implantation. Conferred with his partner and he agreed too.
So I have to get a surgical procedure to get it checked out and fixed if there is scar tissue. One day procedure in city out under so no work. This will now affect my IVF bc period should start next week but they want to do this before a cycle. And dec they shut down cycles early for maintenance etc so I'm not starting IVF until Jan cycle.
I'm so mad trivax didn't push to get and hsg and see if there was anything going on in uterus. Not going to bash him bc I like him but I am so GLAD I listened to my gut and went for another opinion.
On another note got my meds schedule for when I do start. Oh boy!!!

I'm now with RMA- based in manhattan. I'll be monitoring in garden city but my primary dr is in white plains office.

Trusting your instincts and your intuition is so important. I'm glad you did!
An HSG is one of the first steps in investigating and looking at the uterus and tubes. You'll probably have a lap procedure /D&C. I had one too.

My dr is Dr. Stangel- he's based in white plains but will oversee my monitoring even though I'll be I. Garden city. Haven't been to icy yet but will soon bc I have to have some procedures done. Who is your dr??

I used dr Mukherjee. Cannot say enough good things about him.

Ugh!! I really think they rush through those water sonos! At least you got a second pair of eyes on your case and scar tissue can totally prevent any type of implantation!! Best wishes to you and hope this leads you straight to a BFP!

With my age, just turned 40, my one ovary gone, time is not on my side, could that have been the issue. Maybe. But I don't have time to start trying naturally we are trying the two months were not doing IVF so well see- we can't start till January cycle.
