Should I go back? Advice needed please.
If I didn't absolutely need the money I would stay home with my little ones. I took a two year maternity leave and it almost bankrupt us but I wouldn't trade that time for anything. I had to go back for financial reasons but I was also returning to a teaching job where I had tenure and 13 years seniority. You will be basically starting over. Are you ready for that? With all the changes and SLO's, data folios and CCLS I have to take work home with me, which I haven't had to do since my first years teaching.
I am thankful for a great job that I do love, but if I could have I would have stayed home longer with my little guy.
