first clomid cycle

Hi all,

so I am trying to do my first clomid cycle ever this week1 Of course it's the holidays so my doc won't be open thursday or friday. My cycle is due tomorrow so I am hoping it gets here on time. If it doesn't come on time Monday might be too late to start the clomid.

Has anyone run into timing issues with getting to the doc for this?

I am wondering if RE can even see me early even if my cycle doesn't start. I hate to losee this cycle b/c we took the summer off.

Side note-I'm also open to info. about the Clomid anyway (side effects etc...) I am a bit nervous about it.

I never had any issues with holidays because the RE I went to is open 365 days a year, even Thanksgiving.

Re: seeing you early - that's just not possible. They need to see you at the start of your cycle to make sure your hormone levels are where they need to be and that you have no cysts. Seeing you before you get AF means your hormones won't be at baseline levels.

Everyone reacts differently on Clomid. My first month I had no reactions and my second month I had horrible migraines.
