Urgent help needed and appreciated!!!
I am writing this for someone I am really close to. She and her husband have been going through IVF treatments and didn't have success. They don't feel like they've been monitored closely by their doctors and the medicine she has been given isn't really helping her either. Since she lives out of state, she wants to try a dr. in Long Island and has asked me for opinions.
Please recommend a dr. that would help them on an individualized, personal level- really listen and take care of them so they can be able to have kids. She knows she would have to move here for a couple of months, but doesn't mind.

**Sorry for the urgent title, but she is coming for Christmas and would want to make an appt during the break.

Urgent help needed and appreciated!!!
I love my doc, but the clinic is very busy and doctors are always rotatIng. She won't get that warm and fuzzy feeling (or a lot of one on one attention), but she will have doctors that have seen all different kinds of infertility and know what they are doing. That being said I went to The Center for human reproduction at North shore in Manhasset Ny. Good luck to your friend.

I would describe RMA the same way. I was very happy with the care I received though. My first clinic was all sunshine and rainbows and had a very homey feel, but their care/lab was lacking.
As for traveling, I came from about 200 miles away for treatment in NYC. Luckily, I had family to stay with. She will not need to be here for months. I came down on July 29 and went home on August 13. I got my progesterone checked at a local lab and RMA got the results and called me. I did have my beta done in NYC since I had to go to a baby shower, but that could have been done at a local place as well.

I'm also now with RMA and so far am getting very thorough care something I wasn't really getting from my last RE practice....

Dr. Grazi at Genesis Fertility might be the warmest RE whom I've come across. I see a different RE in the practice, but I've dealt with Grazi several times. They have a satellite office in Hewlett.

I go to the North Shore LIJ Center for Human Reproduction and I really love it there. It is a big clinic practice and I primarily see Dr Mullin, but since some things have to be done on specific days with little warning, I see Dr Avner Hershlag as a second when she is unavailable. I have been very happy with both of thematic would recommend them. They are a little more expensive than some other places if insurance doesn't cover (which mine doesn't.) good luck to your friend!
