Thinking of having a party here ---

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Also, if anyone can suggest any other restaurants in the area for about 25 people for not too much $$ that'd be great!

They have great food imo but kid of bad 80's decor (mirrors etc.). We considered a party there bc it was ridiculously reasonable, but when we went for dinner (which we enjoyed) we saw that the space could only comfortably hold about 60 (not the 100 they claimed on the phone).

My sister and mom were going to book my shower there when I got married but it was too cramped and my sister didn't care for the food. I personally have not been there but I know a lot of people who have had their showers/parties there and love it. I would suggest going there to eat dinner one night to try the food.

I went to a party there. The room is very small so it was crammed. The food was just ok in my opinion. The owner however is a very nice man.

My family has had a few parties there throughout the years. Many years ago, it was OK, I am talking like 10-15 years ago. I recently went to a family party there last May and I thought it was TERRIBLE. They haven't updated anything, it was super crowded and I thought the food was terrible. I think I actually got a bad clam, everything is covered in red sauce and the sauce isn't even that good. I would go elsewhere. My sister had her party there because it was the only option (communion season and everything was booked) but she would have been better off having people back at her house for cake and coffee instead!

Re: Sergios Massapequa

I haven't been there in awhile but I had DS 1st bday there and also have been to showers.

The food is pretty good for the price and they offer guests I want to say 8-10 different choices.

They will also work with you around alcohol price.

The party room is smaller though and as another poster mentioned, the décor has not been updated in many many years.

ETA: Other restaurants in the area to consider would be Cara Mia Due (Seaford), Bellisimos in Amityville (although I do not think they can accommodate a person in a wheelchair) and Mama's of Copiague. Hudson's Mill perhaps as well (Massapequa).

I also like Piccolo in Bellmore and we've had family parties at Matteo's in Bellmore. Not sure on the pricing of all of these places however.

our rehearsal dinner was there, like others said the decor is dated, food was OK. I have picky Italian family members who did not like it though.

Re: Sergios Massapequa

I went to a baby shower there a few months ago and even though the room was cramped, that wasn't the restaurant's fault. It was a large group in a small room. The food was really good and so was the punch Chat Icon

I'm thinking of having DS' communion party there next year.

it is definitely outdated but I thought the food was decent there for the price.
