Do they ever have specials to waive the $99 initiation fee?

I've been a member for about 4 years. I don't recall them ever advertising the waived fee, unless they are charging you more per month. I know someone who didn't pay anything down but they pay about $15 more a month than I do.

I had it waived. I found the info online and called to get more information, made an appointment to take a tour and when I got there they said they had the no initiation fee promo. But that it ended that day (of course!).
I pay $45 a month and can only go to the Lake Grove location. I just wanted the cheapest option to use during the winter. It's a month to month so I was thinking I'd cancel once I can get outside to exercise again.
They have a bunch of different options, but it sounds like you can get a better deal if you actually visit the location.

Oh and no referral bonus. There is a membership option where you can gave one guest on your account X number of days per month though, you might want to do that.
