all i do i break out!!!!!

its sooo annoying, anything i do or try never works! My face is oily and im starting to get very annoyed.

Anything you ladies can recommend?

I have yet to find a miracle too. I hate that I am 36 and still break out like I'm a teenager. Its not acne but a bunch of pimples.

Best thing so far is Proactive.

Only thing that has ever worked for me has been going to the dermatologist. In the end the generic version of what I use is cheaper than most over the counter stuff!!

doxycycline worked for me. it was a miracle.

i also use Malin & goetz jojoba facial scrub. its awesome!!!! i have yet to try their acne spot treatment because its sold out ;-(

I have the same problem. My acne is hormonal and the antibiotics don't work. I starting using the new Proactive and it seems to be helping.

See a dermatologist--I swear it is the only thing that really helps.

I finally caved and went to the derm. She tried 2 different medications and a cream and none worked. I will be starting acutane in January. Not looking forward to dealing with that.

Proactive really helped me a lot. The other thing I would try is the oil control method and oil cleansing. You may be stripping your skin of its natural oils too much. The thing that helped me was to wash my face and then just use olive oil. Like the kind found in the grocery store. I also changed my sheets and pillowcases every three days. My hair needs to be off of my face. At night make sure to remove all make up. Don't pick at any pimples. If you go to reddit.com and look for the subreddit skincareaddiction to get extra help.
