I just got my Con Ed bill for 34 days and it is $222--we do not have gas heat though we have oil so that is the electric and the gas for fireplace and stove.

In the summer with our central air it was like $450 for a 35 days pay period.

Our house is @ 1950 sq feet, colonial.

We moved in August so I am new to this and it is surprising lol We had a coop before and all that was included in maintenance

ETA: Just paid was bill was 222 for three months not two

I have balance billing and it comes up to about $200 a month for the gas.

the electric is not balance and can fluctuate between $50 to $400 a month depending on the season etc.

My house is tiny, it's only a 1000 sq ft.

1200 sq ft house -235 for 3 months of water including back up and sewer insurance. 250 for gas and electric. (Electric was 70 the rest was gas). We have two heating zones so we only run what we need and everything was just renovated and insulated. It's not too bad...

Thanks ladies! This helps b/c we are going to start renting a small house for a few months & we are responsible for utilities & I had no idea what they could be coming from a co-op.
