Sephora VIB Rouge

I just qualified for VIB Rouge and received my welcome card and a free mini-lipstick. It says you get some extra perks like free shipping all the time and little seasonal 'gifts.'

Does anyone else have this? Just wondering what the perks are and if the gifts are worth it or if they are just extra samples?

I usually purchase everything from Sephora because of their perks and points but i'm not sure if it's still worth passing up other sales to purchase exclusively from them. Feedback?

A lot of people on the beauty talk website (from Sephora) are really upset with the program. You get free shipping on all orders, but there really have not been any additional gifts sent out to Rouge members. They say that the program will be better in 2014. I would go to your local store and ask if they have anything for rouges. I think you get a complementary make over too. So far the sales and promotions $20 off $50 and 20% sale, and F&F sales have all been the same fore VIB and Rouge. Occasionally I see someone post an extra sample but nothing that has knocked my socks off to run to make Rouge. I think that currently there are other programs (Nordstroms make up program) that people find give them better sales and perks but perhaps it will get better next year. Since you qualified now it should be good for you through 2014. I think at your birthday you get an extra gift. It will be an eye pencil in addition to the mascara and lipstick.

I am also Rouge & I didn't even know they had 3 levels until I qualified!

I received an email about a perk this week--I think it was just a compact mirror, though--a little fancier than the ones they give away with gift cards.

The main Perks right now seem to be free shipping, free unlimited access to the beauty studio & access to a concierge phone number.

I find those last two a little strange, since most likely, people who spend $1000 at Sephora are already into makeup & don't have as many questions or need as many services.

Your status is good until the end of the next calendar year.
