WANTED: ENGLISH OR FRENCH BULLDOG

Does anyone know a reputable breeder?

We already have an English Bulldog. And I am embarrassed to say, but we got her from a pet store. I was naive and uninformed at the time (don't hold it against me).But we love her and want to get a friend.

If anyone knows anyone. Please let me know.

Although I got my bully through a breeder, I would totally go through a rescue next time.

Just seeing all the dogs that need a good home and were neglected really breaks my heart. Escpecially having a bulldog myself, I couldn't see how anyone would give one up.

I would definately check out a rescue first.

Many people get bulldogs b/c they are cute or funny looking, but don't realize how much maintenance they are. Then they get rid of them b/c it's just too much work. I think you could def. find a young bully at a rescue.

Try petfinders.com. They have lists of rescues there.

Since I already have one, I already am very aware of how much work they are. Trust me, it has not been an easy ride. But I am still prepared to get another bulldog.

I have looked repeatedly on the rescues. A lot of them are for single dog homes and/or no children. While, we have no children now, that won't be the case in a few years. I have been checking the rescues for a few months now on a regular basis.
