Confused
Hi girls,
So I've been on the metformin. It's been making my heart race and I feel a bit uneasy being on it.
I've been trying to find more info online and everywhere I look it's tied to PCOS or being overweight. Thankfully I'm neither... And I've been trying to gain but it's tough while on this medication.
I read it helps with ovulation- but my issue isn't with ovulation.
I'm just very confused.
The dr told me it's to help with egg quality and implantation- but I can't find this online.

Confused
I HATED the metformin but it did work for me. My dr prescribed it after our first Ivf didn't work. He said it was embryo quality and the metformin would help. He was right and my embryos for the second Ivf were perfect and I now have a 6mo dd.
I was violently ill when I first started it. I actually projectile vomited and would have diarrhea. I decreased the dosage and was better.

I think I was started on 1500 (750 each). I had to cut back to just 1 pill.
