I have heard many stories of it doubling from a low 1st beta.. it can do it, you never know!!!

Good luck again babydreams21
BETA is a 5.8. So another chemical. After 3 transfers (2 fresh, 1 frozen) RE said it should of worked by now especially at my age (32) and not having any known issues. We talked for a while. He suggested PGS. He thinks the embryos were not healthy. So IDK where to go from here. RLP was normal and all other tests normal. He said persistence pays off and he knows how hard this has been for me. He thinks I will get preg one day but IDK anymore. I said well what would you do differently next time: he said he had to think about it and make a plan and would consult with his colleagues and get back to me.
I'm not doing anything anytime soon. Whats the point? I will get some second opinions.
Thanks for being supportive. This IF thing is totally horrible.

I know you are going to SIRM soon. Bring all info to them at the consult and see what different gameplan they will come up with. I am seeing them next week and will let you know.
At this point, you need answers. PGD is very $$ and it will be good to consult a few places elsewhere before going through that. Hang in there, hun!

My hurt is hurting for you . I am deeply sorry. All I can say is your day will come one day for sure, so many fellow LIF ladies went through such traumatic things that made no sense and somehow they bounced back and a lot ended up with successes. If you need anything, I'm here.

I'm so sorry love. Have you spoken to him about metformin? I know everyone is diff and I've told you our story. It drastically increased our embryo quality from the first to second Ivf. Dh was also put on clomid believe it or not.
Snuggle up to that new puppy!

Thanks ladies. I am so used to BFN and chemicals at this point that I'm not even too sad- just angry. I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that I may never be a mom and I have one more chance to do IVF. According to my RE this SHOULD have worked for us by now. I'm gonna try to research more, get second opinions, and definitely will be getting immune testing. Hopefully the immune testing will reveal something that can be treated and a new RE will make all the difference. I just wish there were more REs on LI that thought outside the box and took my coverage (GHI). Traveling into the city isn't ideal but I'll have to make it work.
