S by JJ Abrams?
Is anyone reading S by JJ Abrams? I just started reading it. It's a really cool concept- the book is made to seem like it's an old library book called Ship of Theseus, and two students are writing back and forth to each other in the margins. I would love to talk to someone about it!

Wow, it sounds really interesting. Anything JJ Abrams takes on is something I want to be a part of. It sounds like the e-book just isn't going to cut it though. Are you finding it difficult to read? Do you have to stop reading the story to read the notes in the margin?

You have to buy the hard copy- it also contains photos, papers, notes that are stuffed in random pages, which makes it really seem you picked up someone else's book. I don't find it hard to read with the notes in the margin- because they are kind of discussing the text so it's like you are reading it with them, if that makes sense!

I still miss LOST
I love the concept, of a tactile, multilayered novel of letters.
However, is an interesting enough story or more of a gimmick?

I really feel like I picked up someone's book and I am spying on their life...I will definately have to re-read this book because I am sure there is so much that I have missed already and I am not even halfway thru!

I just got this book for christmas. Only 70 pages in but i am so obsessed. I am reading 1 chapter main story at a time and then re-reading the chapter's margins and added notes. it is very interesting. i just end up losing track of all the names they reference sometimes and its hard to find out where it was mentioned before. trying to go slow as to not get confused but its so good!
