Nautilus Tread Climber

I just tried it today for the first time at the gym. I hopped on AFTER my workout on the stair master, so I was feeling tired.

the Nautilus felt like I was working, but it could also be that I was already tired from the SM.

is it really as good as running for your lower body? is it really a good hard work out?

I LOVE this machine! It's a really tough workout, IMO. I usually do the interval workout for 40 minutes and I'm dripping with sweat by the time I'm done. I usually am pretty sweaty after 20 minutes, but I do it for 40. I had to get used to the fact that you have to slow your speed WAY down from what you'd normally do on the treadmill.

I have been doing it religiously for about 2 months, and within the first month I was almost down a pants size.

I don't know if it's as good as running, but I can tell you that it feels like a great workout!

thanks. I am really trying to whip my legs into better shape, not exactly lose weight all over...(especially up top) so I am alternating with this and the stair master...I just want to tone up. I went on for 20 mins yesterday and I feel like it was pretty good.

I have this machine at home. Now its collecting dust in the garage

But when I did use it, it was great. I loved it. But now I go to the gym, so I dont bother using the machine.

Once we have bigger space, I may incorporate it back in again.
