Favorite brands of running clothes?
Just wondering what your favorite brands of running clothes are, particularly for mild or warmer weather. I find that some of the things I try on seem fine, but when running, the pants or shorts slide down a bit or the shirts cause some chafing. I'm looking for something that holds up well during long runs. Also what are your favorite brands of socks? Thanks!

Favorite brands of running clothes?
Athleta for shorts/tights/capris. They don't move around on me.
Anything for shirts. Target / champion shirts, or whatever old dirty t-shirt I have lying around.
Socks- no particular brand, but I like the ones with cushioning in the back.

I am a big Nike person…don't know why but I just am. I like their shorts and fitted tank tops. I also love Brooks shorts, have a nice pair that is so comfy - barely feels like I have anything on haha. But I thnk in general fitted tanks are the best to run in for upper body. I have a few lighter weight loose ones that are nice too, both Nike.
In the winter I swear by Under Armour. I feel like a name brand freak but I just don't cheap out on good running clothes!

I used to wear all Nike pants/capris but I'm in between their XL and L right now and they don't seem comfortable. I found nice Champion pants in Target that are flattering and don't slide around.
Tops are Nike or New Balance (with the sweat wicking stuff). Shorts are Moving Comfort - there's a thread I made about them here somewhere.

I love Under Armour stuff for winter too. I've been staying away from tanks because I tend to get chafing on my arm either from the top or my ipod arm band. Maybe I'll try to find some better fitted tanks though. Thanks!

Favorite brands of running clothes?
I am a huge Athleta fan for almost everything except for Cold Weather tops I love the Nike Pro Combat they fit the best on me. I am not an UA fan at all. I feel their stuff runs very small and tight! I love Balega socks that is all I will wear.
