painting and cleaning
which would you do first?
we closed on a house and plan on repainting it and also having a company come in for a one time deep clean before we move
i originally thought painting first and cleaning last...but am not thinking the opposite because if there is any dust around it can get in the paint.
any thoughts/experiences?

I would definitely clean and vaccuum all corners incase there are cob webs ...

I would clean after.
I work in Commercial construction and we paint building when there is construction still going on and the walls are fine. Unless there were piles of dust then I might go in myself and quick vac those up but normal amount of dust would be fine.

I would clean then paint, if you paint before cleaning, there is a good possibility that the dust and other things around the house could stick to the walls and create an issue with the paint.

I'd go around and clean myself before the painters come, and then hire the deep cleaners to come in after so that everything is fresh & new for you.
