This weekend Im taking the kids to the MET museum (free for kids) donation for me and to see Nut Job (they have a movie gift certificate).

LI Children's Museum.
If you get there as soon as they open, it's not that crowded.
I have a family member who works there so she's comped me, but I heard the library also tends to have the free passes.
I'm also planning to take DS to see The Nutjob but might go tonight because DH is having a friend over he hasn't seen in awhile.
