alex and ani...
I really like the bracelets. There are like 5 or 6 I want, but is it just me who finds them pricey? I have a pandora, which I didnt want, but was given to me, and I have my origami owl necklace which I LOVE. I just dont want to spend $200 on a set of bracelets and they wont be in style. Im the type of person who doesnt get caught up in what everyone else is wearing.

Re: alex and ani...
Just buy one or two to start. I have a bunch now but I bought 2 at first and then I received a few as gifts.

Re: alex and ani...
I think they are a bit more versatile than Pandora or Origami Owl since you can stack them or not. I think bangles with charms don't really go out of style, but maybe that's just me. I agree with the pp- just buy one or two to start. I actually LOVE the look of them stacked with other kinds of bracelets! My SIL wore hers stacked with a watch and a few other bangles and beaded bracelets on NYE and it looked awesome!

Re: alex and ani...
i only have one right now that i received from my fmil and i love it stacked with my other bracelets. ie pandora, tiffany, bangles etc.
in fact, i prefer a few at most of the same thing, not an entire arm of them.
start small. you can always add.

Re: alex and ani...
Can you put 2 charms on 1 bracelet? Or buy just the charms

No. I think the materials vary but they include recycled metals. The workmanship seems great and the ones I have are sturdy but I can't tell you yet whether the colors will hold. For the price of jewelry nowadays I find them not to be too bad. I admit I wish I knew how they would last. Buy 2 different ones to start and see which style you like. I actually don't wear the bangle ones because they are bigger than the wraps and my wrists are small.

They are metals. They do now have some real gold ones, but the traditional Alex & Ani are recycled metals. Most of them are $28- $32.
