brickwork&driveway-split level houses
Hi
We have a spilt level house with a single car driveway. We want to make the driveway wide for 2 cars and change the front porch and add a new patio in the backyard as well.
If you can share any pics of what your split level outside looks like I would really appreciate it. Trying to get ideas.

Re: brickwork&driveway-split level houses
I have a split and had the front redone this past summer. While I didn't widened the driveway enough to park two cars side-by-side, it was widened from 8 feet to 12 feet of blacktop. We widened the walkway as well as added a two-tier pavered walkway and new brick and paver front steps widened from 5 feet to 7 feet and had new wrought iron railings fabricated.
Pix in my album.

Really nice job. The land outside my den window is higher up then yours, but I see many homes lower that side. Something to think about.

Re: brickwork&driveway-split level houses
This is the best pic i have. We did not expand the driveway. We just expanded the steps/walkway that lead to the front door. We did retaining walls on both sides. The lawn was still recovering from the destruction of the work. Next is a new front door and garage. Image Attachment(s):
