Bed Bath and Beyond
I was just in the Westbury store today, a Monday, day when things should be quieter but getting around in the store was a nightmare. I needed a shopping cart to put things in and my DD but they have so much stuff in the aisles it is hard to maneuver. You also have to really take time to scan for what you are looking for. With a toddler in the cart, I just can't leave it unattended to grab something ...the cart has to come with me. I also dislike that they are pushing OXO for simple items you can get in a mom and pop store for 1/2 the price and works just as well (ex. sink / drain stopper.
BBB needs a bigger store with more space. Is it just me?

Re: Bed Bath and Beyond
I hate going to BBB. As you said, it is so hard to maneuver a cart around because there is so much in the aisles. The Manhasset store is just the same.
DH gets tired of me saying "I miss Fortunoff" every time we go to BBB.

Re: Bed Bath and Beyond
Its too overwhelming for me. I never go there just to shop around.. I only go when I have one thing in mind that I need and the 20% off coupon. I will run in, get that item and run out.!

Re: Bed Bath and Beyond
So it not just me. I really think the Westbury store should take some vacant space where Fortunoff used to be in the Source Mall ...but there must be some reason why they are not.

Re: Bed Bath and Beyond
I find all stores have too much in the aisle and not just BBB.
The supermarkets are the same way, between the displays and if they are putting out stock it is like an obstacle course.

Re: Bed Bath and Beyond
I went into the Plainview store for a shower gift on a Monday around 1pm. Everything on the registry said available except one thing. I would pick something out, look for it, couldn't find it so hunt down an associate and ask, they went down to look in the stock room and they would tell me they didn't have it. This happened five times. I ended up having to order an item and have it shipped to me. There wasn't one gift in the price range I was comfortable with that I could get in store. If they didn't let me use my coupon I would have flipped out but luckily I got 20% off and free shipping even though it didn't qualify. Ridiculous!
