We love our LG wave series!
We also looked at maytag Bravos (my mom has those and loves it) and were torn. We got the LG cause we were able to get it a little cheaper at the time.

We needed to replace ours after Sandy.
Went with GE brand front loaders.
A good solid name and middle of the road price.
Used Marlin Appliance in Seaford and I think we did better than the big box places and they had them in stock for immediate delivery/installation.

Just bumped my post on washer/dryer.
A few months in and I am IN LOVE with them. Super quiet....washes REALLY well. Just awesome.
