Guardsman furniture insurance

We bought a couch and large chair from
Ashley furniture with a protection plan from guardsman. We've had if for 2 years and it's pulled tremendously, there's a large hole in the cushion and one if the legs is falling off for no reason. It's so far been a nightmare to get them to even come assess the furniture and they have terrible reviews. But we finally got them to make an appt for tomorrow!

Anyone have experience with them? What was the outcome?

I feel like those plans are a big waste of money, most do not cover wear and tear of fabric, just stains and maybe accidental cuts. I never buy them. As I said to someone yesterday Ashely really is not great quality.

Our couch frame was separating and it was a lot of stupid paperwork to go through. They did fix it, but I like raymour and flanigan better. One call and done

I loved Guardsman - we got our money's worth on our previous three pieces from LaZBoy -- between the dog and three kids, their contracted upholstery cleaners would come almost twice a month to steam clean all three pieces. They came so often my then-2 year old referred to the guy as his 'best friend"

Just had to make a phone call, explain the stain and what I did to address it, then schedule the visit. Worth every penny.
