Re: Nike fuel band
It's really finicky, but when it works, it's just ok.
I started out with a dud and I exchanged it for a new one. You have to charge it/hook it up through USB to the comp. There's also an app for the iphone which is linked via bluetooth.
It tracks your calories best when you're in motion, like running, but when you're doing something like yoga, even hot, it stinks. It's almost like a glorified pedometer, so when you're working out in one small area, it doesn't count what you've done. When I had it, I was doing hot vinyasa which is pretty intense and definitely burning at least 500 calories a pop and it read maybe 100 calories at best.
I left mine at a friend's house once and didn't get it back for a few months. When I tried to charge it up and start using it again, it wouldn't take a charge nor hook up to the comp without errors.
I don't recommend it.

I have the Nike and work just bought us the Fit Bit. I have to say I like the fit bit better. They both have their quirks but I just feel like the fit bit is better but not really sure why I feel this way.
