NYC (Queens) Teachers
I am reaching out to you ladies here...I currently work at a NYC PS in the Bronx but I live in Queens. I would really like to get a job in a Queens school as the cost of me commuting to work is too excessive. Does anyone know of any openings in their schools??? I taught 2nd grade for 8 years and I have been teaching 3rd for the last 2 years. Thanks!!

I would look at the open market at The end of June and email all those principals. That is how I got my job in Queens. I applied to the open market and them sent an email to the principal.

I got my job as well on open market. Principal start posting vacancies in April on open market. I would get my resume and cover letter together. I also taught in the Bronx for 7 years before getting my job in queens. Good luck and if I hear of any openings I'll let u know
