Went to the Endo today for the first time. He says I have the hashimotos antibodies (600, when 60 is normal)

I have symptoms, but my tsh is normal.

He wants to wait and check on me in 6 months to see if my tsh has changed before starting meds.

I read studies that even with a tsh that is normal, synthroid therapy has shown a big difference..

anyone start meds with a normal tsh level??
