Favorite hydration belt?

I'm training for a half marathon. Now that the weather is starting to get a bit nicer, I'm trying to do my long runs outside. I really should start using a hydration belt. Which one do you recommend? Are there any that you didn't like?

Re: Favorite hydration belt?

I bought a nike belt a while ago. It has a single 22 oz bottle that sits on the spine of my back. The first time I used it I hated it. I tried it again yesterday since I was doing 8 miles and I didn’t mind it at all. I normally carry a Nathan 10oz wrist bottle but I have been finishing the water at about mile 6 so I needed something bigger.

I like the fuel belts. For me a neoprene Velcro waist band works best and stays in place i.e. It doesn't bounce. It has two 8 oz water bottles but they make some with 4 but that sounded too bulky for me!

My advice - try the one you want on and run with it at the store..

I have a Nathan belt which I hate. It sits in the middle of my waist and sloshes up and down.

Re: Favorite hydration belt?

I have a 2 small bottle belt with a pouch, by Nathan.

I can fit my key, iPhone & gummies in the pouch. I have yet to use both water bottles, even in the hottest of Summer.

It's comfortable, I even used it during my 1st 1/2 marathon, so I had my own stuff.
