Advice on a possible calf injury

I run pretty regularly, usually around a 3.5 miles 3-4 times a week, and sometimes a 5 or so miler on the weekends. Yesterday after my normal run (same course, same distance, same shoes, etc) my calf started to really hurt. this morning I did light yoga and it was killing me again. Any advice on treating a potential calf injury? I don't think I am just sore since I haven't really changed anything, but not quite sure. I iced it this morning.

TIA!

Compression socks. You don't need the super fancy ones The $10 diabetic ones from CVS are good. And ice.

Where on your calf? Is it on the belly? I've pulled my calf before and rolling it out helped. I also think I gave it a few days to recover but I know it was just a pull.

If its really killing you, it could be something more serious, like a tear. Hopefully not though!

I would suggest foam rolling, icing, taking advil to alleviate inflammation, and decreasing exercise intensity for a few days. If the pain does not go away, then I would go to a sports medicine doctor.

Finally starting to feel better! I did yoga earlier in the week without too much discomfort which is a big improvement!
