bad guys and good guys

are your 4-5 year olds obsessed with good guys and bad guys like mine!?!? every where he looks he asks whos the good guy and whos the bad guy. i keep wondering if he's watching too many super heroes...if its not appropriate for him. he loves to play fight. anyone else?

My DD will be 4 and is obsessed with Cops and bad Guys...She loves to know why a cop pulled that car over and what we think they did to get in trouble lol.

She also watches a lot of COPS with my DH and plays cops (the cop part) and robbers with my boys. As long as she's more interested in the good side of the law I find it cute lol!

My DS is into Super Heroes as well and TNMNT. He also plays with teh action figures and comes out and tells me which one s the bad guy and they are fighting. I think its totally normal.

I remember when he was around 4, his asking if so and so was a bad guy. But he has just got into the Villain vs. Hero stiff. He is 5 and doesn't really ask anymore but does pretend play.

One time we were listening to an Eminem song and he told me," I think he is a bad guy, he sounds really angry in this song mommy".Ooops,

It's an age thing.

I remember reading at 4-5 yo is when kids become aware of that not everyone is good, which is what causes the obession with superheroes (not vice versa). I wish I saved the article!

Also it said that's when girls start with magical beings (angels, fairies, & just magic in general )
