Newbie in town
So I'm finally coming out of the IVF closet and looking for some insight. This time around I feel empowered and I have a take control attitude. I am happy to have found this support group to ask questions to locals to get their insight. I will start my protocol in May 2014 with Dr Braverman so I am on 1500mg of Metformin, tapazole 2.5, vitamins and I won't start BCP till my May cycle. I have 3 embryos at CHR @ NS to transfer in April to the city. My hubby has 3 children from a previous marriage and had a vasectomy, so we ended up doing Icsi -- no reversal and we still have specimens left.

Hi hoping2013, the metformin is for elevated insulin resistance, Dr B said I have elevated nk cell activity, mild Endo, positive APA. So lovenox,prednisone, intralipids and clomid to help with the frozen cycle. It was difficult as far as diet what to eat. I did lose weight on the metformin so I am trying to keep up with that. My thyroid has played a major role because I am still hyper but not to the point I needed meds but my Endo felt that this would help in the process-- tapazole. I'm also gonna do a master cleanse b4 I start with Dr B. We will see how that goes
