DH & Clomid?
DH has gone twice to the fabulous Dr. Girardi and this morning, after looking at his bloodwork, she has prescribed him a very small dose of Clomid due to his lower than normal testosterone level. She is hopeful that this will increase his sperm count and motility. Does anyone's DH have experience with taking Clomid? Was it effective? Thanks!

Re: DH & Clomid?
DH took clomid. It did raise his t levels but didn't really effect his sperm counts. Though he had other issues involved, as well.
ETA: You have to be really patient. If clomid is going to work for your husband, you will have to give it a minimum of 3 months to see any change. And likely even longer than that.
Good luck!

Re: DH & Clomid?
My DH is on clomid and has been since last April. It has raised his testosterone levels, but as of August had no affected his sperm. I think for MANY men it does work, but my DH had testicular cancer so his chances were not that good. Since his t levels are now higher, he is much happier though so that's a positive.

DH & Clomid?
Dh was out on clomid for low testosterone. I was also put on metformin so I don't know what was the big difference. This was after our first Ivf. Second Ivf we transfers a 6AA and 6AB so it worked, but also could be just me on the metformin.
His count and motility were always great before.
