Effect of illness on sperm
I'm assuming that my IUI will prob be Monday or Tuesday and of course DH is now sick with the worst cold ever  I've heard that even a simple cold could effect sperm. Do you think it will have a significant impact on our chances this cycle?

I think high fever can effect sperm but not a cold generally. I could be wrong though. Just make sure he is hydrating well!

Effect of illness on sperm
It may not effect the current sperm...I think sperm regenerates itself every 70+ days. Wow realized I know too much about sperm and not in the good way

thanks ladies... Yes I am hydrating him I keep forcing OJ and water down his throat!!
And yes it is quite sad how much we've gotten to know abt sperm during this process lol

Effect of illness on sperm
My husband got over swine flu a few days before an IUI which produced my 4 year old daughter! Keep him hydrated - He'll be fine! Good luck.
