Why does it get so thick and dry so quickly? I just bought a Dior mascara a few weeks ago that I fell in love with and I feel like I'm already in need of a fresh one. Does this happen to anyone else? How often are you supposed to replace your mascara?

Are you sure the cap was closed all the way? I've used Dior mascara in the past and it always lasted about 6 months, but I don't use it on a daily basis.

Re: mascara vent

You should replace your mascara every 3-6 months. I like to replace them every 3 months but if it get dried out like you are describing, toss it.

Definitely make sure you are closing the cap all the way. I use mine daily and it lasts me approx 3 months or so. Even when it's on it's way out, it's still pretty decent! My favorite. I use the Diorshow if that makes any difference.

You should replace it every 3 months. Also do not pump the wand, pumping lets air in which can also dry it out quicker.

Re: mascara vent

Out of all the makeup items, mascara is definitely the item that needs to be replaced the fastest. That is why I never buy high end mascaras.
