Beta checked?
Hey ladies, I'm 7dpo. It's been exactly since my third and final IUI. I don't "feel" pregnant.
Just wondering do you ladies go in for your beta if you think you're not preggo after an IUI or IVF?
I just kinda feel like it's pointless, if I already "know" kwim?
So what do you do?

Beta checked?
At 7dpo, you would not feel pregnant. I am 36+ weeks and at this point, my only symptoms are a bump and occasional heartburn - neither appeared until 24 weeks.
Good Luck!

Re: Beta checked?
7 Dpo too early. I didn't feel pregnant when I got my BFP last year. Actually, I said I KNEW for sure I wasn't bc I felt AF coming. Tested faint BFP on 11dpo and got darker after that. So no symptom spotting!!!
I have gone without Beta. Only when I wasn't on Progesterone though (bc you won't get AF until you stop it). My last test would be night before Beta and if it was BFN, I'd cancel Beta. If you do this, and still don't get AF, you can always go in for beta after that. I always felt like it was s lap in the face getting beta KNOWING it was a BFN
But you're still in it now!! 7 dpo is early!

Re: Beta checked?
7dpo is still very early. I didn't feel pregnant for well into my pregnancy. Try not to read into things.

you hit the nail on the head. I don't want to go if I already know it's negative. I guess I can call them.
Thanks Ladies.

Re: Beta checked?
I know it's hard, but take it from me - it's important to go. For my first IVF I tested starting 3 days before my scheduled beta. ALL tests were negative. I hated that I had to go bc it was such a waste of time. I even stopped taking PIO the night before bc I was in so much pain and thought why prolong it if it's negative. The nurse was super cheeful that morning and sent me off with "GOOD LUCK!" Well you can imagine my face when they called me back and said "so you're beta came back at 28, it's low but we will keep an eye on it - but you are pregnant". I was so upset with myself for stopping meds, etc etc. That IVF didn't result in a successful pregnancy but my point is YOU NEVER KNOW.
