Re: Victorian Gardens, Holtsville
I do not have any recent reviews of this place. A friend of mine used to live there about 10 years ago. I will say that she hated the management company. As for the apartment itself, it was big and spacious and very pretty. It had a washer/dryer and two bathrooms which was a big plus. I considered renting there but by the time I was considering it (5 years ago) the rents had gone up dramatically and we were priced out of it. We wound up finding a 2 bedroom coop in Selden that offered the same amenities but was more than $500 cheaper a month

Same! My sister moved from there 5 years ago. She was there for a few years. They weren't happy with management either, but happy with the apartment. Getting their security back was a major headache.

Re: Victorian Gardens, Holtsville
My dh lived there about 5 years ago. He liked it, I thought it was always nice. The place was big. He didn't have too much of a hard time getting his security back. He just complained bc when he first moved in they had a maintence guy that lived on the premises and security etc. by the time he left, they cut back on all of that. It didn't take too long to get maintence in when needed, but it was a noticeable change.
