What do you serve with Turkey Burgers?
I am trying to avoid "french fries" since this is all I can think about.
What does everyone serve when they make these, I see alot of people make these burgers often, Tonight will be my first time.
Any tips or suggesstions would help plus the side dish suggesstions~

Sweet potato "chips" ... thinly slice sweet potatoes and place on a Pam sprayed cookie sheet, sprinkle kosher salt ... bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees or until golden brown.
You could also serve brown rice - sautee shallots and mushrooms, add chicken broth as the liquid, bring to a boil and add rice and simmer.

usually a veggie. Since DH is picky about his veggies, I usually do cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, spinach (but not now since I usually buy the bagged spinach! ) or sometimes just a salad.
DH low carbs it all the time, so instead of serving it on a bun, I'll grill or broil a portobella mushroom and put the burger on top of that.

When DH was on his low carb kick I would make it with sweet potato fries but back them instead of fry them (smiliar to the chip idea) or brocolli. Then instead of a bun we would wrap a piece of roman lettuce around it. It was actually good and the meal was very filling.

I avoid carbs at night so i make a big salad and either beans (i will eat that as a carb) and/or spinach

I make sweet potatoe "fries" whenever I make turkey burgers.
Cut them into wedges --- toss in a bowl with some salt, ground pepper and EVOO and put on a layer on a baking sheet. I would just bake at around 425 until they were done -- probably about 30-40 minutes. They are SOOO delish!

We are bad- we always have a veggie or salad and tater tots. But we don't have the bun.
