How to treat sudden enlarged pores, oily skin

I had a microdermabrasion four weeks ago and ever since, my skin has been a mess. I suddenly have enlarged pores and oily skin. I never had this problem. I spoke to the esthetician who did the microderm, and she claimed it is something I am doing.Chat Icon Meanwhile, I never had this problem until after treating with her. She said to go back and start using all my regular products and still the same problem. She said the picture indicated it was inflamed skin. What a disaster that I spent money to this facility and am left with this. Anyway, looking for advice on anyone who suffers from oily skin, enlarged pores or perhaps inflammation (what esthetician claims).

Your skin could be reacting to the treatment.
It might have been overdrying or something and now your skin is overcompensating by producing more oil.
I would just go back to your normal routine and give it some time for your skin to normalize.
Use gentle cleansers, oil free moisturizers etc
Don't go too crazy with new products, it might just irritate it more.
Check out Paula's Choice too- they have some great, simple, mild skin care products

Thanks so much! I know this is fro the treatment, but worried it will always stay this way. Funny you mention Paulas Choice because I have been on her site looking for something gentle to use. The reason I changed some things is, a lot of my night products were Olay and some had some exfoliating in it and I was afraid after this treatment doing that would make it worse so I tried some basic creams.
