New Poster - Shakin' off the haters!
Hi - I am a 2010 LIW bride in hiding, and am starting Clomid TODAY. 
I had a mc last year, and haven't had any success since so dh and i decided to go to a re. we did all the testing and it's "unexplained" so now we're starting clomid/iui.
it's been a hard road for me, seeing other people have two babies in the same time frame (it's been one year since i got preg last time) and to have people tell me "iui never works" and "you're going to have such bad side effects?" but i am staying positive and not listening to them!

First off, sorry for your loss. I know how hard that is and how frustrating TTC can be.
It's great that you got started with an RE. As unexplained, trying Clomid & IUI is the first real step towards pregnancy. And I don't know WTF people are talking about... there are plenty of babies born from IUI! Don't let anyone get to you. Keep the faith and it'll happen!! 
Hope your stay here is short!

Welcome, I'm a 2010 LIW bride as well. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm currently going through clomid/ IUI as well. I just had my 3rd one. Definitely don't listen to nonsense that people have to say, IUI has worked for plenty of people. Good luck to you!!

2010 bride here as well. Clomid isn't so bad... I had a few hot flashes and some headaches.

Welcome! Hope your stay is short. And whoever told you iuis don't work are full of sht. They work for some people. My nephew is the product of iui/clomid.

My twins are a product of a first round IUI/clomid  IUI WORKS!!!!!
This time around we weren't so lucky and 4 round of iui/clomid have failed so we are on to IVF.

Welcome and good luck! We are unexplained too with maybe some possible new answers. I did 3 Clomid IUIs. IUIs do work for many people. Don't listen to people. People who have don't have IF issues just don't get it. Personally I think you are better off not sharing with people who don't get it. GL

IUIs do work.
Also - not everyone has side effects from the medications. I did 3 rounds of IVF with NO side effects.

Exactly this - hope you come and go fast!!! I know lots of people who IUI worked for. Keep the faith and good luck!
