What's in your Big Kid -tween Easter Baskets
DS is 10 I'm done with all the cutesy plastic do dads, bunny prize, stuffed chicks and the like. What's going in your Tweens Easter Basket?
So far I have:
Crayons obstical course (basically chalk and a few mini cone)
Thinking about a good compass since he needs one for summer camp
Maybe a movie
???

They get plenty of baskets from the family so I bought them each a $20 DS game instead.

My sons are 6 and 9. We just got a pool so some pool dive toys, a book, soccer jersey, candy, a dvd (just got a 3d tv so got a 3d dvd), a water gun, hand sanitizer for school, new big eraser for school.

DD is almost 8 - I need more ideas too. So far I got her lip gloss, a paddle ball set, cute socks, and some candy. I will probably go to claires and get some cheapy jewerly or hair stuff too.

I remember loving getting some trendy outfits back at that age. I'm trying to remember the brand that was all the rage back then with the oversized t-shirts and Capri leggings to go underneath. That was a cool Easter.....

Ds got stuff at his dad's today (skylander crap) and we will be away w my family on Easter, and my mom got him a basket so I think I'm good

My son is not a tween, but a teen now. I used to do swim stuff most years, swim trunks, rash guard, towel, etc. This year we have more than enough swim stuff, so I bought 2 video games that were $5 from 5 below, a Minecraft guide book, and a bunch of reading books (he loves to read). I don't do a ton of candy, just because I don't like either of my kids to eat a lot of it.

Agree..debating on whether or not to even bother. DD is 6 and already has sooo many toys. I just threw out a whole bunch of toys. I don't want to buy junk just for her to have a basket. If I buy anything it may be a game or DVD.

My ds requested bath bombs from Lush. I went today-they have cute ones shaped like Easter eggs. He also wants the new lego hobbit game for Xbox but i am not sure if it is out yet so I will probably put a GameStop gift card in. Aside from that, just candy.

That game is out for the Xbox at Gamestop. I went to get it for my son for Wii U, and of course it's the only platform they haven't released yet.
