Cleaning house siding
Anyone clean their siding? If so with what?
I have grey vinyl siding that has greenish/brown dirt film basically on the bottom and on the trim by the gutters. I'm guessing just water with a little bleach? We can get a power washer also.

I've done my house with my power washer. As soon as we get a warm weekend, I have to do most of the house again. When using the power washer, there's a lot of mist, so you really don't want to do it when it's chilly out.

they have soaps you can buy specifically for powerwashing. not sure if they are worth it, but bleach may mess up the machine?

Bleach will definitely mess up any grass, bushes, or plants around the house that get sprayed, which will be almost everything within 10 feet or more of the house. I do just fine with plain water.

Dont use the vinyl cleaner they sell at home depot or lowes. We actually bought deck cleaner from Benjamin Moore and a power wasker. Looked brand new. Be careful with bleack and your screens, it will bleach them.
