Find me a very lightweight handbag
Must be somewhat roomy. It's for the recovery from part 2 of a 2 part surgery. I almost got hurt carrying my LV bag and all the crap in it when I was not supposed to lift more than 5 pounds after the last procedure. In the past I would have bought a LeSportSac or Vera Bradley bag but there must be something else that's lightweight that I will like.

Oh, welll I was going to suggest LV speedy 35, very light and roomy, but your post mentioned your LV!
Check out Marc Jacobs. Zappos has some cute nylon bags, but lesportsac is prob your best bet in terms of weight.

After my surgeries I used my LeSportsacs.
I tried to use a smaller bag, so I would put less stuff in it.
My larger bag is a Longchamps Le Pliage--it is light, but I have a big one, so it can get heavy if I fill it up. They have smaller ones that are a little dressier than a LeSportsac.

Thanks everyone. I really have to figure out what I want. I tried to carry a smaller bag today but it was too small and too packed.
