I don't have any pics but my previous home we used Palladian Blue. That is truly one of my favorite colors. So comforting, and peaceful. I miss that color and plan to use it again one day.

Our office is philadelphia cream but it's a storage room at the moment. I'll try to dig up old pics, it's a really nice color. Have you tried googling images for benjamin moore and the paint color name? That's how I found real pics of the colors I wanted in a room.

Jess - I did. Just trying to find more pics. Is the Philadelphia cream overly yellow???

The room I want it in (formal living room) gets a lot of light.

I would like to suggest Mannequin Cream by BM. I also had that in my old home and I miss that color too! Not too yellow, so soothing.

This is an accurate representation in my experience with the color. But it does vary based on amt of light in the room.

No it's a very muted pastel yellow. If you're in the area you can stop by and see the room in person if you want.

Was going to suggest this! My friend has a colonial in Westchester -- very similar to size, style, and feel to the home you (OP) are buying. And her 2-story foyer and formal living are Mannequin Cream.

Also, I know you are leaning toward soothing, beachy colors. Check out BM's 2014 Color of the Year - "Breath of Fresh Air." Love that blue!
