what type of blinds/window treatment for sliding glass doors
I have oversized sliding glass doors that take up pretty much the whole wall they are on. I love them but at night I feel like I'm on display. I love the look of the doors so I need something that pretty much disappears when I'm not using it. I'd do curtains but since the doors take up the whole wall there isn't room on the sides of the doors to do curtains. Any ideas?

I like vertical blinds on sliders. This way you can open the verticals without opening the blinds and let light in. Then just close them for your privacy. I couldn't imagine not having anything over sliders...I'd be spooked out!

We only have drapes on the sides. I am not a fan of any kind of blinds on sliders.....I am assuming they are in the back of the house....can you do plantings outside to provide more privacy.

I'd probably do blackout curtains.
Do you have other window treatments in the room? Maybe coordinate the fabric?

We have grommet style curtains on our sliding doors. We had to use 4/5 panels to span the entire door. In the summer I use a lighter weight curtain to let the light in and in the winter a heavier one to keep the heat.

We just bought curtains and need to install the rods. I'm pretty sure my neighbors spy on me watching tv. Lol
