Re: Paint colors are driving me crazy!!!
I don't know if you are doing the painting yourself, or hiring a professional, but most painters/painting companies have a color consultant (usually an interior designer) and will offer her services as part of the painting service (as a complimentary additional service). So if you have general ideas, but are having trouble choosing exact shades, that could be helpful.
This just came up today, because I was with a client who is painting an entire, large home she is buying, and both painters she got estimates from offered to set her up with a color consultant.
Even if you are doing a DIY job, most paint stores have a consultant there to discuss colors.
Sometimes, though, you just have to go with your gut and commit! When I bought my house, I spent so much time looking at my color wheel! I ultimately chose some colors that DH wasn't sure about, but when they were on the walls and the flooring was done and furniture and accessories were in, he loved them! Sometimes you need to just do it to really see the "whole effect." It's easy to overthink it and get stuck.

Re: Paint colors are driving me crazy!!!
I am terrible at picking out paint colors. I have started hiring a decorator for color choice and is amazing what a difference it makes.

Oh I didn't know about this! We are deciding between two different companies but haven't asked about this. The realtor is setting up the appointments for us this weekend. Ill have to inquire about it. There's not way we are doing this ourselves. Not a handy stitch in our bones!
