brunch menu idea please
I have a party every June, this year I am having a life celebration. I was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, doing well and will be celebrating life.
At first I didn't want to cook, but this year I decided to try a brunch buffet instead of dinner.
I need some very simple foods, some I can prep or make the day before.
Can you serve rids and chicken or only breakfast foods??

You can do fruit and yogurt parfaits in martini glasses. They look fantastic set up on a silver platter
Mini quiche, croissants, baked goods
I would look at a ton of catered brunch menus to get ideas and prices and see if its even worth the labor to do it yourself. Fairway is my go-to place. Great fresh food and inexpensive

French Toast Bake (I found that recipe on Pinterest and made it on Thanksgiving...so good!) Apple Bacon Cheddar Bake (Have that recipe at home, let me know if you're interested!) Fresh Fruit Mini bagels, croissants
Chicken Francese Baked Ziti or Cold Tortellini Salad
All can be prepared ahead of time and just heated that morning. The tortellini salad is one of my favorites and so simple, I just made it again for mother's day.
I just use cheese tortellini, one red and one green pepper, a jar of green olives, shredded cheddar cheese and broccoli mixed together in a bowl with Italian dressing. It's delicious!

Re: brunch menu idea please
For Mother's Day I did a brunch for the family and did it so easy. Just ordered a fish platter from Wegmans. In addition I got... Egg salad, Tuna salad, different cream cheese flavor/choices, munster cheese, sliced tomatoes, fruit salad, cinnamon buns, and tons of different bagels and some bialys. We had fresh OJ and mimosas, lemon water and bloody marys.

You can definitely serve ribs and chicken. Brunch is one of those things where you can pretty much serve anything. Some ideas:
-Mini bagels with cream cheese/butter -Caprese salad -Cold macaroni salad -Croissants -Cold cut platter -Chicken fingers -Roasted potatoes -Quiche -Fruit salad -Muffins

We do brunch for mothers day & we did: Sweet Potato Latkas with pineapple salsa Spiral Ham Bacon & Cheese Quiche Broccoli & Cheese Quiche French Toast BLT wraps (my dad made them, they had cream cheese and mayo on them...delicious!) Brie and apples
In the past we've done: Waffles with Fruit Waffles with chicken Pillsbury pizza crust with artichokes and prosciutto prosciutto wrapped melon
We were going to do eggs in a cup, where I would take either a thin sweet potato latka (cooked) or bacon (already cooked) line a cakecup sheet (kinda like a basket) with them and crack a egg in each one and bake it. But we had a lot of egg items already lol.

Re: brunch menu idea please
Went to brunch yesterday at SILs.
I don't eat eggs, but she made like 5 different quiches that everyone else raved about.
A huge tower of bacon and some maple sausage links.
Bagels with an assortment of cream cheeses, fresh cut fruit platters and homemade baked goods galore.
DHs aunt made homemade sugar donuts and some Nutella pastries that I am still dreaming about....
Also mimosas and chilled sangria.

You just described my brunch menu pretty much to a T. If I'm short on time, I will buy the quiches.

I'm in NJ. There's none on LI. Sorry... It's one of the greatest supermarkets. LOL My IL's are on LI and when they come visit they like to take trips to Wegmans.
