Barbecue restaurant recommendtions
Since Mother's Day is over and I was spoiled I now have to come up with something for Father's Day. My Dh is obsessed with barbecue. Loves all the barbecue shows and such. Any great barbecue restaurants on Long Island? He hates the city.

So is dh.
Try maras homemade in syosset. They had a place in the city that we first went to.
Also, dh loves smokin Al's. There is only one in bayshore.

Thanks ill look up Mara's. Smokin Al's closed a couple of years ago plus Dh was never really impressed.

We love Smokin Al's too, the Bayshore location is closed though, the Massapequa Park location is still open.
Bobbique's in Patchogue is also great.
You really can't go wrong at either place.

The chef from smokin al's just opened south shore bbq in patchogue but I have not heard good things about the food at all.
I like smoky bones and bobbique. There's also dinosaur bbq in the city. I used to go to one upstate and it was awesome.

Dinosaur BBQ in Harlem or the BK location.
Their original one was in Syracuse and I used to go all the time. Got so excited once they stated opening hem around here.

swingbellys in long beach is very good!
biscuits and BBQ in mineola is super tiny, but the food is excellent.
LL dent near Roosevelt field is soul food, but they do brisket and some other BBQ type things. Their food is excellent.
Red Rooster in Harlem is awesome - also more soul food style.
